I love a good pamper. I love how my skin looks and feels once I’ve treated it with love.
On Monday morning I woke up with what I think is a reaction to a new cleanser I’d used all over my eyelids and under my eyes. My skin is very sensitive at the best of times and I knew that I had to cut my skincare routine right back this week to allow the skin to heal without causing more issues.
For this reason I have basically stuck with eye cream and E45 cream for my face morning and night because it has been so sore. Now that my face has finally healed (and the cleanser thrown to the back of my drawer to test again at a later date) I have decided to give myself a skincare treat tonight with a real pamper. Here are the products I’ve used.
Naturally Radiant Brightening Hot Cloth Cleanser – This is a lovely gentle hot cloth cleanser that I used to wash my face before apply my face masks.
Nspa Skin Glow Mud Mask – I haven’t used this mask in a long time but I like how it applies and dries on my skin. The charcoal in this mask helps to draw all the impurities in my skin to the surface.
Amie Daybright Glow™ Brightening Sheet Mask – I like how this mask brightens and hydrates my skin, especially after using a clarifying mask beforehand.
Nip + Fab Gycolic Fix Night Pads Extreme – oh how I missed this step in my routine. I love how this clears and brightens my skin after a couple of uses and (seems to) help keep breakouts at bay.
Waitrose Pure Hydration Eye Cream – I really like this eye cream. Its basic but it does exactly what it needs to do and I also really like the packaging.
Waitrose Pure Facial Oil – it might all be in my mind but I feel like my skin is so much more hydrated once I have used this oil the night before. I think this might be one of those products that I repurchase regularly.
Vitamin E Nourishing Night Cream – I am yet to form a complete opinion on this product. My skin seems to drink it up overnight without leaving me too greasy, however this can tend to sting a bit on any sensitive patches on my face.
So that’s what I tend to use on my face when I really want to give my skin a treat.
I apologise for the low quality images – these photos were taken my iPhone camera in almost low lighting.
