Since I’ve now re-branded my blog and taken things in a skincare direction, I wanted to talk about some stand out products that I mentioned on my instagram stories this morning.
All the images are from my instagram stories because I forgot to take seperate images for the blog as I wasn’t planning on using this blog for a while, but, now I’m back and I’m planning on making this blog an extension of my other social media channels. So, let’s jump into the stand out products:
Superdrug Naturally Radiant Hot Cloth Cleanser:
I love this cleanser! I have gone through multiple tubes of this cleanser and I’ve even got my boyfriend into it! At the moment it is £5.99 in Superdrug but I normally pick it up when it is on offer for less than £3. I use this as my AM or second cleanser normally.
Super Facialist Cleansing Oil:
The smell of this is just incredible. I feel like it smells of grapefruit but I could be wrong. I use this as my first cleanse in the evening because if I use it more than once a day I find that it can clog my pores and cause mini breakouts. The cleansing oil retails for £11 normally which I think is fantastic value for 200ml of product. Although I am really not keen on the packaging of this oil – how am I suppose to use this properly with no pump?!
Botanics Hot Cloth Cleansing Balm:
This is my absolute favourite cleansing balm out there. I just love what it does to my skin and how good it is to use. I like to really take my time with this product and make sure that it is worked into my skin really well before I remove it with a flannel (wash cloth) and move on with my routine.
Nivea Cream Cleanser:
I am still road testing this product but so far I am really impressed. I won’t lie, I mainly bought this because it smells like my mum and reminds me of my childhood so I was pleasantly surprised at how nice this cleanser is. I use this as an AM or Second cleanser.
Nip+Fab Gycolic Fix Extreme Night Pads:
I picked these up a while ago and was floored at how freaking expensive these are! For around the same price you could pick yourself up a bottle of an exfoliating toner and some cotton pads that would last much longer but, if you’re lazy like me, then these pads are fantastic and really help me to clear up my skin.
Simply Sensitive Hydrating Eye Cream:
This is only £2!! And it is by far my favourite eye cream at the moment. It really works to hydrate my skin without being too much to wear under my makeup or sticky. I would definitely recommend it wholeheartedly.
Simply Pure Hydrating Serum:
Have you ever heard of Sali Hughes and her beauty forum? If not, go and google it now, enjoy! If you have then I’m sure you would have heard her talking about this product. I discovered this years before I heard of Sali but I was so proud of myself that I’d discovered it when I heard about Sali and heard her talk about it.
Time Delay Facial Oil:
Now I know that I am only (nearly) 21 so I don’t really need anti-ageing products but oh man I really love this oil. I had a couple of oils in my collection (a couple I had to throw out because they made me react) and this, and one other were the only ones that survived but this oil man, you need NOW!
sCosmetics Anti-Wrinkle Ceramides & Hyaluronic Face Cream:
This is a Tesco moisturiser that I heard Mikhila talking about and needed as soon as I heard about it. I’ve been testing it out for a while and so far I’m really really impressed!
Naturally Radiant Renewing Night Cream:
This is a massive stand out product for me. I picked this up on a whim – I wasn’t really interested but I thought ‘why not‘ so in my basket it jumped and I honestly could not be happier with it. I would definitely recommend this.
Garnier Miracle Sleeping Cream:
I have one word for this: bouncy. I love it and I love how bouncy it also makes my skin feel. I like to use this in the evenings when I need to really plump up my skin. If you can find this then I would definitely recommend picking this up.
Calm Skin Skincare Refreshing Facial Spritz:
I’m still testing this out but so far I’m quite liking this. I like how hydrated this makes my skin feel, however, I sometimes find that this has made my skin feel super sticky and slightly uncomfortable. But, as I said, I’m still testing this out so I will report back soon with more of an opinion.
So those are my stand out products at present. What are your stand out products? Have you tried any of these products? What did you think of them?
