Following on from my love of looking at other people’s skin care routines on their blogs and instagram (my favourites are Caroline Hirons @CarolineHirons, Gracie @lpetitesfleurs and @skincareloves [all instagram handles]). Here is last nights routine:
Cleanse – Boots Botanics Hot Cloth Cleansing Balm
This was a repurchase from a couple of years ago, purely because they changed all the packaging and I wanted to see whether they had changed the formula. The formula hasn’t changed at all but I have a newfound appreciation for this product. Review to follow.
Double Cleanse – Superdrug Naturally Radiant Hot Cloth Cleanser
I have always had this cleanser on hand since I discovered it a couple of years ago. For a (really) budget cleanser I think this is an awesome find and would totally recommend it!
Acid Tone – Nip+Fab Glycolic Fix Daily Cleansing Pads
I’ve almost finished these and I like how clear they keep my skin, however I’m a little gutted that these don’t cause my skin to tingle anymore. Call me strange but I find the tingle of my skin super satisfying.
Eye Cream – Waitrose Pure Hydrating Eye Cream
I like this eye cream a lot. I like the fact that it comes with a pump so I know exactly how much to use and a cap to stop it spilling. It hydrates my under eyes at all times without being too thick to wear under makeup.
Facial Oil – Waitrose Pure Hydration Facial Oil
This is a new one for me; I loved the old formulation (review to come) but they have since changed the formula and packaging to this. I’m impressed so far, although not as in love with the packaging this time.
Night Cream – Superdrug Vitamin E Night Cream
What’s a nighttime skincare routine without a night cream? I love the consistency of this product, and how hydrating it is without breaking me out. I honestly don’t know where I would be without it (probably using my Nivea Creme and wondering why it was breaking me out😉)
