Waitrose Skincare Review

Hi there! Today I am bringing you a review of Waitrose Pure Skincare. I’ve had these in my collection for months and months and only really thought to dig them out again when I saw them mentioned on Caroline Hirons blog.

The only product that I can use seems to be the facial oil. I use this mixed into my normal moisturiser (E45 Cream) and I plan to try and mix this into a few of my really dry foundations to see if it can help with that.

The eye gel is just straight up uncomfortable to use. I wouldn’t even say that I have sensitive eyes but when I put this on I can’t feel anything for about 5 or 10 seconds and then it starts to sting, really really sting. It also doesn’t seem to do anything to hydrate or moisturise my under eyes, in fact, it seems to do nothing except leave them feeling slightly silicone-y.

the moisturiser is very very light and would be perfect for someone with very oily skin who just wanted a little bit of moisture under their makeup however, I have very dry skin with a very oily T-zone and I struggle to get enough hydration on my t-zone with this.

Right, I am off to apply some E45 cream to my face having to just put all of these on my face to properly test them one last time before I reviewed them. If you are looking for a budget skincare range to help moisturise and hydrate your skin then I would say this range is not for you, however, I would recommend the own ranges (simply pure & naturally radiant) from Superdrug! Especially the Simply Pure Hydrating Serum and the Naturally Radiant Moisturising Facial Oil, although, I prefer the packaging of the Waitrose facial oil.

have you tried any of the Waitrose Pure range? What did you think of it?
