Today I thought I would share with you an update of my bullet journal. I started this Bullet Journal back in November after completing my previous Bullet Journal. I rushed to finish my last Bullet Journal so that I could start this one, and I feel like that ruined it for me just a little bit. I was so busy planning what to put in this one that I didn’t enjoy finishing my last Bullet Journal and then felt slightly guilty about using this one. I’m now over that and am currently falling back in love with my bullet journal so I thought I would share it with you today.
This is a very picture-heavy and long post, I’m sorry!
The first spread that I am going to share with you is my Calendex. There are a few mistakes on the page but that doesn’t really bother me. I keep the ‘key’ to the Calendex on the previous page as I find it easier to have all of the dates on one page rather than scattering them throughout my daily pages.
Next we have my 100 goals in 2017 page. I haven’t completed this yet as I am still finding goals that I would like to achieve throughout 2017. I am aiming to tick off all of these goals in 2017 but if I don’t I know I will just carry them over into 2018.
Next up is my monthly overview and master task list. I have gone back to the traditional monthly overview as I feel it just works a lot better for me than some of the spreads that I was previously using. the master tasks list is a new one for me and I am enjoying it so far – I am using it almost as a brain dump.
This month I am aiming to introduce a time log to keep a record of what I am spending the most of my time on and whether that is benefiting me or whether I should be focusing on something else. I am not sure how well this is going to work but we shall see.
I am also intending to keep a tracker this month to track all of the small tasks that I end up writing in my bullet journal again and again. I have tried using a tracker in the past but have never kept up with filling out so this month I am aiming to come back to it at least once a day.
the final 2 spreads that I am sharing with you today are my blog post plan for February (yet to be filled in) and a daily page. I keep my daily pages simple because, to me, they are just glorified to-do lists and therefore I don’t feel that they need decorating. I also feel like I not creative enough to decorate them and not hate it so theres that also!
Do you have a bullet journal? How do you use it?
